*_• For Advertisements, see Supplement.
Our onry apology for ithholding the detail
of Congressional matter is. that the formi-
dable advertisement from the lew and ex-
tensive establisi meat of Mr. Bradford, and
the great number of other advertisements
wath which v.e are at thb tune favored, so
completely occupy the columns of the Ga-
zette that even the aid of a supplement has
enabled us to give but a eiy limited quan-
tity of othei matter. ' We have however, a
consolation in the ciicumstance, that the
proceedings of Congress can excite no great
interest previous 'o the reception oi duf
patches irom our ministers in Europe ; and
tna. therefore, we withhold no interesting
matter irom our readers. When intelligence
si all have been received, our patrons may
depend on a prompt attention to their inte-
rests and gratification.
