This editorial and transcription project consists of selected cases decided by the Maryland Court of Appeals that relate to Baltimore City.  The cases will be listed here in chronological order and lead to the ongoing transcription and editing of all documents discovered that are relevant to the cases.  By that is meant any surviving lower court case records and supplementary material that would enhance the understanding of the historical importance of the case and those who were associated with it. The method of selection is based upon historical interest, more than legal importance, though because they were decided by the Court of Appeals, the two are often linked.
